Carnewas at Bedruthen Steps beach is a real adventure, although unsuitable for visitors with limited mobility.
The beach is accessed via steep steps cut in to the cliff face, with safety grab rails on the way down. Definitely not a bathing beach, but a dramatic feast of stacks and arches formed by the sea over the years, that beautiful clear sea and often undisturbed sand – never fails to captivate visitors. Watch the tide – it sweeps in very quickly here, so timing your visit for low tide is important.
Cafe on site.
Walk along the stunning Coast Path through Mawgan Porth approximately 3 miles of hilly terrain.
